Finally we are waiting at the Joburg airport with a bunch of the US Team members until our flights leave. We have had a wonderful two weeks with some of the friendliest and gun people on the planet. It is a pity it has to come to an end, but we all have to go back to our own countries and our normal lives. The memories of this World Championships will remain forever with all who attended. The crazy wind that was blowing many mornings before the air was even active, the even stronger wind that blew almost every day until mid afternoon, the snow which kept us dressed like Eskimos, but the best memories are going to be those of the people we met. We could not always speak their language but the language of F3J model soaring is universal. We look forward to joining all our old and new friends again in two years time in Martin Slovakia.
